The subject of hyperfocus technique came up in another forum and it’s actually something that I use quite often in street photography. It’s faster then autofocus because no focusing is needed at all. It will also give you a greater DOF then is possible using any other focusing technique, especially the “focus on something close, stop down, recompose, and shoot” method.
