POTD- A Father’s Love
It’s photos like this that make me happy that I dropped a little extra cash for a f1.4 instead of getting the f2.5 and that I have a rangefinder. This was shot wide open at 1/8s. Losing almost 2 stops would have made this photo impossible with any type of camera but with an RF and the lack of mirror vibration, handheld shots this slow are manageable. Of course, it could have been shot with a slower lens, SLR, and a flash but then all that great ambient lighting and mood would have been trashed.
