I honestly don’t know why I don’t go here more often. It’s fairly close to my home, it’s got some great games for my kids to play, great food to eat, great shopping to do, and great culture to experience. Oh, and there are some great photographic opportunities, too.

So here are some pictures of Raohe Night Market in Taipei, taken during my most recent visit this past Saturday.

A practical lesson in centripical force.

On your six!

Lottery scratcher sales push.

Official police tea time.

Food!

Shopping!

Fortune-telling!

Facials?

Fire!

Germs!

Foot traffic.

That’s everything. Raohe Night Market is very easy to get to. It sits on a major street in front of a well-known temple and next to the largest train station in N.E. Taipei. If you’re only in Taipei for a day or two it’s very conveniently located and well worth your visit.

Raohe is my favorite of Taipei’s night markets. Nice collection of photos.

Thanks, Craig! I’m wondering how it’ll change once the new train station is finished. It being built as the NE opposite of Taipei Main in the SW and will be pretty big.
