That’s right, there’s only a week left until the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012, which we all know will harbor the apocalypse just like October of this year was supposed to…and 2000 was supposed to…heck, just read this National Geographic article and know that there are so many more. Issac Newton thought the world will end in 2060. Maybe that’s when the apples will become self-aware.

Wait…isn’t there something in the bible about no one…not man, not angels, not even Jesus knowing when the end was going to come? Only god, right? And there’s that other thing about bewaring false prophets? I also seem to remember that a true prophet would never actually call his/herself a prophet?

Nah, I just made that stuff up. :-)

That reminds me: Merry Christmas (and Chanukah and Kwanza, too)!

Enjoy it since it’ll be the last one…you know…since the world is ending a few days before Christmas next year…stupid Mayans had to go and ruin next Christmas for everyone…I say we go over there and…wait…oh, that already happened…okay, then.

Anyway, on to this week’s street pics of Taipei.

Have a great day tomorrow and remember to pace both your gift-opening and your eggnog consumption.
